Policyfast, the web’s leading insurance portal for independent insurance brokers, is going from strength-to-strength. Now in its 10th year, Policyfast is continuing to develop its offering and as it does so, so it is developing the talented individuals within it that have made Policyfast such a success. We recently caught up with one of the team, the newly-promoted Products Support Manager, Jack McNeill to get his impressions of life at Policyfast.

So Jack, how long have you been with Policyfast?

I’ve worked in insurance for around 9 years now and have been with Policyfast for about 4 years. I started out in the Property Owners’ team before moving to the Goods in Transit team, which then led to me working in the Products Support team which I have now been doing for a couple of years.

And you’ve recently been promoted to Products Support Manager?

Yes, I am now Policyfast’s Products Support Manager and I will be managing the products support team. Collectively we deal with a wide range of tasks; everything from new insurance product builds, updates to existing insurance schemes and system developments right through to the day-to-day running of the existing systems for Policyfast, our sister company City Underwriters etc.

You know Policyfast inside and out then. What would you say is the best thing about working at Policyfast, other than the delicious vending machine tea?

Tough one. I really think you have hit the nail on the head with the tea... Seriously, I would say the best thing about working here is the people I work with, they make the job what it is.

So you’d recommend Policyfast as a place to work, then?

Absolutely. Great people in a fast-paced environment, expanding business: what’s not to like?
